The school calendar is accessible at bayridgeprep.org/calendar. The following events are traditionally held in-person at the beginning of each school year. Due to the ongoing public health crisis, some or all of these events may be transformed into virtual events.

All student medical records must be up to date in Magnus Health.
Students may not attend classes or participate in any activities without having their yearly medical forms and updated immunization record submitted in Magnus. There are no exceptions. Click here to access Magnus Health by logging in to your Veracross Portal.
Student & Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements
Per NYC regulations, all faculty and staff must be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
Per our athletic league policies, all students eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine who wish to participate in interscholastic athletics (competing in team sports against other schools) must be up to date in their COVID-19 vaccination series.
Submit Student COVID-19 Vaccination Status in Magnus Health
Once an eligible student has completed their COVID-19 vaccination, please share their vaccine card with the school via Magnus Health. The card must first be saved to your device as a picture or PDF file. To access Magnus Health, parents can log in to their Veracross Portal at bayridgeprep.org/portal, click “Magnus Health” and then follow these steps:
Click “Complete Now” next to the student’s name
Answer “Yes” to the first question, “Has your child received the COVID-19 vaccine?”
Click “Yes, Submit”
Click “Choose File” and select the vaccine document saved to your device

If you are a new incoming family you will receive an email with portal access, your credentials and instructions. If you did not receive this email please write to email@example.com.

Middle School Supply Lists:
Supplies can be either purchased through SchoolKidz or through any office supply store. SchoolKidz orders must be placed by June 3. View the supply list and SchoolKidz ordering instructions here. SchoolKidz kits are shipped home.
Math Summer Work
Returning middle school students will receive recommended work from their math teachers either via email and/or in report cards. For new students, we recommend a general practice and review of math skills over the summer. Utilizing a site like Khan Academy can be helpful.
Upper School Summer Assignments:
Upper School students are encouraged to continue reading and learning over summer, however there are no requirements. Please read this letter and view a list of suggested books and media students may opt to explore this summer.

Upper School students entering Grades 9, 10 and 11:
Complete this survey to indicate interest for world languages, physical education and art classes.
Grades 5-12 Fall Athletics:
Fall sports begin as early as the week of August 22, 2022.
All students interested in fall athletics must fill out this athletic interest form. Please be sure that your student medical record is complete and up to date in Magnus Health prior to August 22 if you plan to participate in any fall sports.
Bay Ridge Prep partners with Campus Cuisine to provide daily delivery of lunch from nearby restaurants. To create an account, view menus, etc., please visit bayridgeprep.org/lunch-program.
Lower & Middle School students must either bring lunch or have lunch delivered via Campus Cuisine. Please do not send food deliveries to the school. If lunch was accidentally left at home, no worries! Students can come to the office if they are missing lunch or a parent can call the school and we will make sure the student has something to eat.
Upper School students can bring lunch, have lunch delivered via Campus Cuisine or go out for lunch. Grade 9-12 have the option to go out to lunch every day.
