A Brooklynite for over 20 years, April Joined Bay Ridge Prep in 2018 as the First Grade Assistant Teacher. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in childhood education at Brooklyn College. Previously, April enjoyed helping run a number of small restaurants, and has an extensive knowledge both of baking and of wine. She lives in Boerum Hill with her husband and 11 year old son, and enjoys plein-air painting on road trips to scenic areas.
