A proud alum of Bay Ridge Prep, Anthony first joined the school’s staff when he began working part-time in the admissions office and after school program while attending Fordham University and interning for ABC News. After graduating from Fordham, he joined Bay Ridge Prep full-time and, in 2014, was named Director of Communications. In addition to overseeing the school’s internal and external communication strategies, he is an adviser to the Upper School Student Activities Committee, teaches elective courses in journalism and media, and works closely with the Head of School and the senior administration in achieving day-to-day and long-term goals for the community.
Outside of Bay Ridge Prep, Anthony is the vice president of NYC Independent Schools Communications Professionals (NYCISCP), a networking and professional development cohort composed of 100+ communications, marketing and advancement professionals from independent schools in the New York City Metro-Area. At Fordham University, he has advised and instructed student-journalists at the university’s Lincoln Center campus and serves on an alumni advisory board for Fordham’s student-run newspaper.
Anthony holds a master’s degree in Independent School Leadership from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University.
