Fifth Grade’s ‘Story Stew’ Dazzles Audience
Fifth Graders worked tirelessly since the start of the school year to present this fall’s production of “Story Stew: A Fairy Tale Review” by Stacey Lane. The play was presented on November 15 to a dazzled audience of family and friends.
Combining characters from familiar fairy tales and nursery rhymes, the play follows the adventures of Old Mother Hubbard and her many children, including Jack and Jill, Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, and Hansel and Gunter (Gretel) and Mary and her lamb. Joining this energetic romp through the enchanted forest are Little Miss Muffet, the Big Bad Wolf, the Gingerbread Man, Puss in Boots, and more of your fairy tale favorites. Familiar fables take on new twists as a mystery leads the children through the woods to Grandmother’s house, up a beanstalk, and finally to the witch’s gingerbread house.
