History Faculty Selected for Vanderbilt Fellowship

Bay Ridge Prep is proud to share that Upper School history teacher Emily Munch has been selected as an Alexander Fellow in the Alexander Initiative at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development.

This competitive national fellowship recognizes educators who demonstrate exceptional dedication to teaching American history and civics. Ms. Munch was selected for her strong credentials and her engaging approach to bringing history to life in the classroom. The program begins with a weeklong residential institute in Nashville this June, followed by a year of collaborative workshops, coaching sessions, and curriculum development with educators from across the country.

We congratulate Ms. Munch on this impressive professional achievement and look forward to the ways her experience will further enrich the learning of Bay Ridge Prep students.
