Prior to joining Bay Ridge Prep, Roe worked at New York University for over 13 ½ years. During her time at NYU, she was the Conferences, Events, and Special Program Coordinator at the Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism. In this position, Roe handled marketing and communication for several annual lectures and events, including the NYU Hospitality Investment Conference. Roe’s first position in an academic setting was at the University of San Francisco. For four years, she assisted with special events for the Office of Development. Prior to working at USF, Roe worked in publishing for Fitness magazine and Time Out New York magazine. However, after coming from such corporate environments, she felt an immediate connection to the lively, positive atmosphere that surrounded students and education. It was such a refreshing and inspiring experience that it changed the course of her career path. Roe graduated from the College of Staten Island and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
