Upper School Intersession
Intersession is a three day enrichment experience for students and teachers. In the Upper School, students’ schedules will be built around intense and immersive workshops (which they will select in advance); these workshops will be facilitated by faculty members, outside professionals and even some of their peers.
Intersession workshops – some of them broken up over the course of three days, some lasting a full day – will differ from traditional classes offered at Bay Ridge Prep. Rather than academic experiences tied to letter grades and arranged by grade level, Intersession workshops will provide opportunities for students and teachers to meet in mixed groups for in-depth engagement in activities such as art, activism, athletics, civics, life skills, media, fitness, sustainability, theater, writing and more.
