Anthony Tempera is one of the school’s founding faculty members. He taught in the Middle School for 11 years before moving to the Upper School where he now oversees the Upper School Achieve Program in addition to advising 9th Grade students and teaching global history and psychology courses.
In addition to his work inside the classroom, he moderates the culinary club so that students have some practical experience in the kitchen before heading off to college. His culinary skills come in handy around the holidays, as he’s known to cook a mean turkey dinner!
Anthony is also a proud alum of Fordham University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Fordham College at Rose Hill and a professional diploma in school psychology at the university’s Lincoln Center campus. He also holds a masters degree in special education from Touro College. Outside of Bay Ridge Prep, Anthony is a drummer, marathon runner and 6th Degree Black Belt.
