Catherine is from Lexington, Massachusetts. She attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges for her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While there, she minored in Cognition, Logic and Language and spent a semester conducting research with a speech sciences professor at University College London. Catherine received her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. While at Columbia, Catherine was the teaching assistant for the fluency disorder course. She holds certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) and is a member of American Speech-Language- Hearing Association (ASHA). She has previously worked for Boston and Cambridge Public Schools.

 

Catherine spends her free time doing yoga, reading, and running. She is trained in the social-emotional curriculum for the national non-profit organization, “Girls on the Run” and recently enjoyed leading a team of thirty third to fifth grade girls.
